Half-Life 3

Half Life 3’s Development is Reportedly Close To Finishing

According to the long string of rumors, Half Life 3 has been in development for quite some time now. Recent rumors claim that developers of the game have been reassigned from the project to other games because they’ve finished their tasks. This suggests the game is in a state that’s almost finished. Counter-Strike 2 data miner Gabe Follower released a video claiming that a major update for Counter Strike has revealed some clues about Valve’s other projects due to them using the same engine. Its worth noting that these are all still claims that needs to be taken with a grain of salt.

“This new patch brought a ton of previously unknown info,” said Gabe Follower. “HLX or Half Life 3 is at a stage of production where some parts of the project are already finished and being polished.”

“When developers finish their tasks and aren’t needed anymore, they usually hop into other teams…Sometimes this kind of rotation is a sign of upcoming cancellation, so literally people running away from a sinking ship. But based on what we’ve seen in Source 2 files, the new Half-Life game seems to be in good shape and doesn’t look like it’s getting shelved.”
