GTA V Next Gen Pricing Revealed

The next gen versions of GTA V and GTA Online are available for pre-load, and Rockstar has released the pricing for the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. The upgrades will not be free, but will be sold at a big discount on both systems starting today and for the first three months of launch. Pricing details for both systems are detailed below:

 

Playstation 5

GTA V will be be 75% off for the first three months of launch on the PS5, with a price of $9.99 USD / £8.75. After three months, the price will revert to the normal price of $39.99 USD /  £34.99. This includes both GTA V and GTA Online.

The standalone version of GTA Online will be completely free to download for the first three months of launch, after which it will cost $19.99 USD / £17.99 to download.

Xbox Series X|S

GTA V will be 50% off for the first three months of launch on the Xbox Series X|S with a price of $19.99 USD / £17.49. After three months the price will revert to the normal price of $39.99 USD /  £34.99. This includes GTA V and GTA Online.

The standalone version of GTA Online will not be free on the Xbox Series X|S, but will also be discounted by 50% for the first three months of launch with a price of $9.99 USD / £8.99. After three months, the price of the standalone game will revert to the normal price of $19.99 USD / £17.99.

 

Both versions of the game will officially launch for next gen consoles on March 15th. The new versions will have updated graphics and textures, as well as 4k resolution, a framerate of 60 frames per second, improved textures, HDR, ray tracing, faster load times and more immersive 3D audio. Players will also be able to transfer their existing story and online characters to the new versions through the Rockstar Social Club, along with all their assets that they have acquired.
