The popular survival game mode from the Devil May Cry series, Bloody Palace, is making its return on the recently released Devil May Cry V. The new mode will come courtesy of a free update scheduled to go live on April 1, 2019. No foolin’.

A tweet from Capcom announced the upcoming free game mode, and given the launch date, they insisted this was no April Fools’ Day gag.

Bloody Palace is a survival mode that pits you against hordes of increasingly difficult enemies and bosses whilst racing against the ticking timer. Play as Dante, Nero or V in Bloody Palace Mode through multiple levels of enemies and truly test your SSStylish skills.

Per usual from the relentless game mode, players will partake in the challenging game mode to take you away from the immensely satisfying story mode. There’s also reports of this particular Bloody Palace mode to include an online multiplayer option, as well.

Be sure to install the new Bloody Palace wielding patch for Devil May Cry V for free on April 1, 2019. Devil May Cry V recently released to raving reviews and is available on the PS4, Xbox One and PC.
