According to the game’s official FAQ, players who purchase Forza Horizon 5 on PlayStation 5 will also require a Microsoft account to play the game. Upon booting the game, players will need to link their Microsoft accounts to their PSN accounts. The process is permanent and will remain linked for future games. Obsidian’s Grounded notably launched on PlayStation with the same requirement but an update removed the requirement. Forza Horizon 5 will launch on April 29 for PlayStation 5.
