During the recent Final Fantasy VII: Ever Crisis 2nd Anniversary broadcast, creative director Tetsuya Nomura stated that production with the third entry in the Final Fantasy VII Remake series and Kingdom Hearts IV are ‘progressing smoothly’. He also suggested that the release timing has seemingly been set internally. However, other details are currently unknown. “So yeah, things are moving along really smoothly, and the release timing has already been decided,” said Nomura. “We’re moving forward according to that schedule right now, so please rest assured and be patient. And this has also come up in the comments here and there, but Kingdom Hearts IV is likewise steadily moving forward according to schedule, so please look forward to it.”
As spotted on ResetEra earlier this year, the English voice actor for Cloud Strife in the Final Fantasy 7 Remake series made a post on Instagram suggesting that he is currently back in the booth. This would suggest that voice acting for the upcoming Final Fantasy 7 Remake Part 3 is currently underway or has been completed. According to information from past interviews published on the Final Fantasy VII Remake Ultimania Book, the story for the third part of the Final Fantasy VII Remake “has already been completed.”
