EVE Online: Invasion Chapter 2 Released by CCP Games

EVE Online: Invasion Chapter 2 has been released for Windows PC, introducing the “next step in the Triglavian story for the biggest single shard free-to-play spaceship MMO game of all time.”

The newest chapter in the ‘Invasion’ expansion is free to download for all players, and “Capsuleers” will have to choose sides in the middle of skirmishes between the Empires and Triglavian Collective.

In addition, pilots have access to a new ship: the Triglavian Dreadnought class vessel—the Zirnitra. “This new ship will prove a challenging adversary for Capsuleers, but also a desirable prize for those that can pilot it.” Moreover, players will need to access new skills and weaponry in order to pilot the Dreadnought.

The Mimesis Implant set and 16 new Firestorm SKINs also provide a “significant addition to the Loyalty Points store in EVE Online.”

From EVE Online’s Creative Director, Bergur Finnbogason: “EVE Online: Invasion Chapter 2 follows on naturally from the universe-changing events of the initial Triglavian Invasion. Our goal was always to raise the intensity of Triglavian activity in familiar space and have the impact of their presence be felt even further afield. We’re very eager to see how players will influence the conflict that is building up and how they’ll interact with all the new things that Chapter 2 introduces!”

‘Invasion Chapter 2’ also brings other new features, such as Shareable Bookmarks, which allow Capsuleers to share specific locations in New Eden with alliance members and anyone else they choose, with control over access and duration.

CCP Games (the developer and publisher behind EVE Online) also released a trailer for the new and upcoming content that players can view before jumping into the action. Furthermore, fans can read more about the updates on the official EVE Online website.
