Larian’s director of publishing, Michael Douse has noted that Divinity: Original Sin 3 is currently not planned at the studio. This comes after the recent leak of the Divinity: Original Sin 2 – Definitive Edition for PlayStation 5. In response to a question on Twitter, Douse stated “There aren’t currently any plans for a new Divinity Original Sin 3 game, but once we are ready to show what we’ve been working on, we will.” It’s worth noting that several speculations have been going around about a statue teasing an upcoming game announcement at The Game Awards. Following a recent Divinity trademark being spotted online, several have speculated that the statue is to tease a new Divinity game.
