The Wolf Among Us 2 has been officially confirmed by LCG Entertainment, also known as Telltale, as once again being in development.

In partnership with AdHoc Studio—formed by former Telltale employees—Telltale has commenced co-developing the second season of The Wolf Among Us series.

The Wolf Among Us 2 is the first announced title from TellTale Games since the company was acquired by LCG Entertainment in August 2019. The game is also licensed by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment “on behalf of DC.”

The Wolf Among Us 2 was revealed during The Game Awards 2019 and will be released first on PC exclusively on the Epic Games Store before eventually launching on consoles.

CEO of LCG Entertainment and Telltale Games, Jamie Ottilie, had this to say about the game: “The Wolf Among Us is one of the most popular titles in the Telltale catalog, so we are thrilled to announce that development on Wolf 2 has again started and assure all of the series’ fans that it is in good hands. Partnering with AdHoc Studio enables us to work with many of the key creative and development talent from the original Wolf series while strategically growing the new Telltale.”

Moreover, Nick Herman and Dennis Lenart have returned the game’s development as directors alongside writer Pierre Shorette. Joining them are “award-winning voice actors, Adam Harrington as Bigby Wolf, Erin Yvette as Snow White and composer Jared Emerson-Johnson.” Furthermore, Zac Litton (former VP of Engineering for Telltale Games) has joined the new Telltale team as CTO.

Discussing the decision to resume production on The Wolf Among Us 2, writer and CCO of AdHoc Studio Pierre Shorette had this to say: “When the opportunity came up, it was an easy decision for us. Developing The Wolf Among Us was my first project at Telltale and the start of a creative partnership with Nick and Dennis, so obviously we’re excited to further explore the Fables universe.”
