Days Gone Goes Gold – PS4 Exclusive is Finished

PS4 Exclusive game Days Gone has now reached ‘gold status’, meaning that the game is complete and ready to be sent to manufacturers.

The team released this tweet to celebrate that.

In the middle, you can see one of the dev’s holding what is presumably the completed game disk.

Days Gone is a single-player experience, with the player playing as Deacon St. John, a bounty hunter who travels around the apocalypse on his bike.

That game earned some notoriety at E3 2016, when it release a trailer that showed literal hordes of zombies charging after the player. Early reviews suggest that these hordes do actually appear and roam the open-world. They can (and must be) cleared in order to make areas safe to rebuild.

That trailer is here:

That bodes well for people looking for a truly-epic zombie-slaying experience, and with the game going gold, it shouldn’t be long before we can actually get our hands on it.
