Cyberpunk 2077 Photo Mode Showcased in new Trailer

CD Projekt has revealed Cyberpunk 2077 photo mode with a new trailer. The game will launch on December 10 for PC, PS4, and Xbox One, and also will be available via backward compatibility on PS5, Xbox Series X|S.

As revealed in the gameplay trailer, players will be able to pause the action at any moment and take off the first-person perspective for taking highly detailed photos of the characters.

The trailer also highlights that there are several options for creating the perfect photo. Players can add stickers, change V’s pose, alter the facial expressions, changing the depth of field, and much more. The game will also save a compilation of the photos taken in a gallery for ease of access.

In recent news, CD Projekt’s Executive Adam Kicinski recently explained that what he said during the company’s latest earnings briefing that the game’s upcoming Multiplayer it’s not a “mode”. Instead, players should consider the product as a standalone game.

“So, first, we don’t call it modes,” Kicinski said (transcription via Seeking Alpha). “It’s a separate dedicated production, a big production. We think about it as a standalone product.”

According to the executive, the multiplayer game is connected to the main story of Cyberpunk 2077, but CD Projekt Red affirms it is an “independent production”  being developed by a different team. The executive confirms that CD Projekt Red is planning to release the multiplayer game at a much later date, fans can expect news about the game in Q1 of 2021.

Little is known about the upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 multiplayer game, it’s said to have a microtransaction system that will make players “happy”  but it’s unknown what business model it will use.

Cyberpunk 2077‘s multiplayer game is scheduled to launch in 2022.
