X018: Crackdown 3 Release Date Announced, Debuts Wrecking Zone Multiplayer

After going through more than 5 years of development hell, Microsoft has yet again announced a final release date for their upcoming open world-shooter mayhem, Crackdown 3. According to Major Nelson, Crackdown 3 release date is set to February 15th 2019 and it has gone through a long road in development with the collaboration of highlight studios such Elbow Rocket.

Alongside the long-awaited final release date of the game, they also showed the multiplayer portion of the game called The Wrecking Zone, where two teams up to 5 players each, can go against each other in full force, causing endless destruction of the city that they are battling on. This showcases the the insanity of the action at it’s core, as it allows player to unleash full destruction on the environment they are battling on until one team or the other is utterly destroyed.

As a nice bonus of the final release date announcement of Crackdown 3, Microsoft is currently giving the first game away for free from now until November 30th 2018, so hurry up and grab your copy of the game here.

As stated above, the game has a final launch date of February 15th 2019, here is the hoping that the launch date is really final, and not pushed back even further.
