New hints at the highly rumored Assassin’s Creed IV remake have surfaced from comments from a voice actor. Matt Ryan, who voices protagonist Edward Kenway made comments suggesting a remaster or remake via an interaction with a fan at a recent convention. Ryan asks a fan if they’ve beaten the original Black Flag, and says that they “might have to beat it again”. He then follows up by saying “there’s a reason I say that, but I can’t say anything.” While an official announcement has yet to be made about a remake, there is a high chance it could happen. According to a past report by Insider Gaming’s Tom Henderson, the remake could launch in November 2025.
