Aragami Gets Retail Box Release

A privately owned video game publisher and distributor, Merge Games Ltd., announced that it has signed a publishing deal with Lince Works which will see the Spanish game development studio’s third-person stealth game “Aragami” released in retail boxed form for PlayStation4 and Home Computer (PC, Mac and Linux).

Check out the announcement trailer of Aragami, featuring some gameplay footage:

“Players will control Aragami, an undead assassin with supernatural abilities summoned back from the grave by Yamiko, a mysterious girl with ties to Aragami’s past. Yamiko is being imprisoned by Kaiho – The army of Light – whose warriors guard the heavily fortified citadel of Kyûryu.

Using his newly acquired Shadow Powers, Aragami can manipulate darkness to become the ultimate ninja assassin. With strong influences from stealth classics such the Tenchu Saga, or more modern stealth gems like Mark of the Ninja and Dishonored, players will need to use all their supernatural powers, wit and cunning to defeat their enemies.”

Lince Works co-founder, David León, commented “We are delighted by the opportunity of launching Aragami for retail with Merge Games. Aragami is a work of love by the whole team here at Lince Works and we will put that same passion into Aragami’s physical edition.”

Merge Games’ Managing Director, Luke Keighran added, “I’m super excited to be working with Lince Works. Aragami’s awesome gameplay and fantastic production values have already caught the attention of gamers worldwide. Aragami is a top quality title that will take pride of place in many game collections.
