Summer Games Fest 2025 recently ended and featured a slew of game announcements, trailers, and more. In case you didn’t catch everything, we’ve broken down every major announcement, trailer, and gameplay reveal that the event had to offer.
Resident Evil Requiem Announced
Capcom announced Resident Evil Requiem, a new installment in the Resident Evil series. It will launch on February 27, 2026 for PC via Steam, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series. Resident Evil Requiem features new protagonist Grace Ashcroft, who is given a case to investigate, leading to some terrifying events. The game will reportedly feature “high-stakes cinematic action that will take the series in a bold new direction.”
Death Stranding 2 Cinematic Video
During the recent Summer Games Fest livestream, Kojima Productions released a Death Stranding 2 cinematic trailer showing the new character and Porter Neil. The game will launch on June 26 for PS5.
MMORPG The CUBE Announced
Atomic Heart series developer Mundfish announced The CUBE, a MMORPG set in the world of Atomic Heart. A release date was not announced but it will launch for PC and consoles. The game promises “a living world” full of memorable characters, diverse biomes, and tons of enemies and bosses. An announcement trailer showing several world details was also released.
Atomic Heart 2 Announced
Developer Mundfish announced Atomic Heart 2. It will launch sometime in 2026 for PC via Steam and unspecified consoles. The game is a continuation of the first game and promises an expanded RPG system. The trailer showcases both new and returning characters.
Felt That: Boxing Announced
Sans Strings Studio announced Felt That: Boxing. It is a puppet arcade fighting game where players control “Fuzz-E” Wright, a puppet who plans to fight through the “Tournament of a Million Punches” in order to save an orphanage from demolition. A release date has yet to be announced but it will launch for PC via Steam.
Lies of P DLC Overture Gets New Trailer, Available Now
NEOWIZ revealed that the Lies of P DLC Overture is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and Mac via Mac App Store. The base game is available for the same platforms and on Game Pass. A launch trailer for the DLC was also released.
New Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds Trailer and Guest Characters
During the livestream, SEGA announced that Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds will launch on September 25 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will also feature the guest characters Joker from Persona 5, Ichiban Kasuga from the Like a Dragon series, and vocaloid Hatsune Miku. The game will launch on September 25.
Mortal Shell II Announced
Publisher Playstack and developer Cold Symmetry announced Mortal Shell II for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. It will launch sometime in 2026. A trailer showing gameplay and combat was also released.
Code Vein II Announced
Bandai Namco announced Code Vein II for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam. It will launch sometime in 2026. A trailer showing new details including a Revenant and a new mysterious girl Lou was also released.
Dying Light: The Beast Gets New Trailer and Release Date
Techland revealed a new gameplay trailer for Dying Light: The Beast, and announced that it will launch on August 22 for Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, and PC. The game is set 13 years after the first game and sees Kyle Crane seeking revenge on The Baron.
STRANGER THAN HEAVEN Announced, New Trailer
Publisher SEGA and developer Ryu Ga Gotoku Studio released a new teaser trailer for STRANGER THAN HEAVEN, formerly titled Project Century. A release date was not announced but the trailer shows off several enemy types, characters, combat, and more.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword Gets New Gameplay Trailer
Capcom released a new trailer for Onimusha: Way of the Sword. It shows off the game’s swordplay, combat, enemies, some story details, and more.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword will launch sometime in 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
Mafia: The Old Country Gets New Story
Publisher 2K and developer Hangar 13 released a trailer for Mafia: The Old Country called “Loyalty is Everything.” The story trailer shows off several cutscenes and characters for the game along with a story summary.
Mafia: The Old Country will launch on August 8 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam.
Game of Thrones: War for Westeros Announced
PlaySide announced a real-time strategy Game of Thrones game, Game of Thrones: War for Westeros. It will launch sometime in 2026 for PC via Steam. A trailer was also released. In the game, players “command the Great Houses in epic real-time strategy battles, forge strategic alliances, or weave deceit against your rivals.”
Scott Pilgrim EX Announced
Tribute Games announced a new Scott Pilgrim beat em up, Scott Pilgrim EX. It will launch in early 2026 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
KILLER INN Announced
Square Enix, and developer Tactic Studios announced the multiplayer murder mystery action game KILLER INN. A release date was not announced but a trailer showing several details was released. A closed beta was also announced for the future.
ARC Raiders Release Date And Trailer
Developer Embark Studios announced that the survival extraction shooter ARC Raiders will launch on October 30 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam and Epic Games Store. It will cost $40. A trailer was also released.
WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers Gets New Trailer
Publisher 505 Games and developer Leenzee Games released a new trailer for upcoming action RPG WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers. It reveals more enemies, characters, and bosses. It will launch on July 24 for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series, and PC via Steam, Epic Games Store, and Microsoft Store.
