Pre-orders for Elden Ring: Tarnished Edition have been spotted on Amazon for Nintendo Switch 2. The game, which includes both the base game and the Shadow of the Erdtree expansion, is listed at $79.99. It will be delivered via a Game-Key Card, as the full title’s size makes cartridge release unlikely. The upcoming edition will also feature new content, including two new starting classes (Knight of Ides and Heavy Knight), four new armor sets, new weapons, and customization options for the spectral steed, Torrent. This content will also be available on existing platforms as paid DLC.
Back in October, publisher Bandai Namco and developer FromSoftware announced that Elden Ring Tarnished Edition has been delayed from its initial 2025 release window to 2026 For Nintendo Switch 2. The developer claims the game needs additional time “for game performance adjustments.” Elden Ring and the Elden Ring Shadow of the Erdtree expansion is available now for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam. The expansion features “an all-new story set in the Land of Shadow imbued with mystery, perilous dungeons, and new enemies, weapons and equipment.”
