Konami recently announced on Twitter that Silent Hill 2 has surpassed five million players worldwide. This figure includes both sales numbers and players who accessed the game through subscription services. It was previously announced in October 2025 that the game had sold over 2.5 million units worldwide. Silent Hill 2 launched on October 8, 2024, and is available now for Xbox Series X/S, PC, and PlayStation 5.
