Hitman World of Assassination Will Be Getting Cross-Progression

IO Interactive has announced that Hitman World of Assassination will receive cross-platform progression through its new IOI account system. Players will be able to access and manage their accounts via browser and mobile, with the cross-progression feature launching on February 3. With cross-progression enabled, players can carry over data such as player level, challenges, campaign progression, Freelancer mode progression, achievements, and inventory data across multiple platforms. To use the feature, players must link their platforms to an IOI account and select a primary profile. Game licenses, DLC licenses, and DLC-based unlocks will not transfer, and old save files created on non-primary linked accounts will not be accessible while cross-progression is active. Players can disable cross-progression at any time to use older saves from non-primary accounts. HITMAN World of Assassination is available now for PlayStation 5 with PlayStation VR2 support, Xbox Series, Nintendo Switch 2, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Switch via cloud streaming, PC via Steam and Epic Games Store, and iOS.

The game’s details:

HITMAN III is the dramatic conclusion to the World of Assassination trilogy and takes players around the world on a globetrotting adventure to sprawling sandbox locations. Agent 47 returns as a ruthless professional for the most important contracts of his entire career.

Supported by his Agency handler, Diana Burnwood, 47 joins forces with his long-lost friend Lucas Grey. Their ultimate mission is to eliminate the partners of Providence, but they are forced to adapt as their hunt intensifies. When the dust settles, 47 and the world he inhabits will never be the same again.

Every mission location in HITMAN III is meticulously detailed and packed full of creative opportunities. IO Interactive has made sure that players will have unrivalled freedom to complete their objectives and the game world will react to everything they do. All of this is made possible by our award-winning Glacier technology, which powers HITMAN III‘s immersive game world to offer unparalleled player choice and replayability.

HITMAN III feels like a natural step, as the final game in this trilogy, to come directly from us to our players. We feel ready for the challenge and look forward to embracing the journey, together with our players and community.
