Respawn Entertainment has announced that Titanfall, the first game that they ever released back in 2014, will be removed from digital storefronts with no plans of delisting it in the future. This means that anybody that does not already own the title digitally will no longer have the option to do so, though it is still possible to find physical copies floating around.
It was also announced that the game will be removed from subscription services starting on March 1, 2022. This means you will no longer be able to find it on Xbox Game Pass or the EA Play starting on that date. Thankfully, if you do already have the game, Respawn has stated that they will keep the servers live so you can continue to play it, at least for the foreseeable future.

In an official statement made via the company Twitter account, it was stated that:
Rest assured, Titanfall is core to Respawn’s DNA and this incredible universe will continue. Today in Titanfall 2 and Apex Legends, and in the future. This franchise is a north star for the caliber of experiences we will continue to create here at Respawn. Thank you from the entire Respawn team.
Titanfall, when it was originally released, was an ambitious multiplay project for Xbox One, Xbox 360, and Windows PC. The game featured large battlefields in which players fought both real players and AI in order to get a large mech they could use to help turn the tide of battle or keep the dominance of the battlefield. While the game upon launch received mixed opinions, it has since gone on to be a fondly remembered title.
Titanfall 2 followed up on the formula, and bother was eventually followed up by the popular free-to-play battle royale game Apex Legends. Thanks to the success of Apex, both Titanfalls have seen a resurgence in popularity recently.
