The Surge 2 Gets Second Free DLC Pack

Action-RPG The Surge 2 has received its second free DLC: the JCPD Gear Pack.

Expanding the game’s collection of futuristic loot, the JCPD Gear Pack contains a whole new set of armor and four new implants.

Scientists in Jericho City have devised brand-new, entertaining toys for players to hunt down, collect, and acquire, such as the JCPD Team Zola armor set. The Team Zola armor set is all about generating stamina so gamers can keep their combos going, perhaps combining it with the new Omni-Cell battery converter Implant, which converts batteries into drone ammunition—allowing players to slaughter their enemies one after another without pausing.

Fans of The Surge 2 can get their JCPD Gear Pack right now, available for free on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. The JCPD Gear Pack and all future DLCs will be included in The Surge 2’s Season Pass, which is also available for purchase on all aforementioned platforms. Season Pass owners will also be given a forty-eight-hour head start when January’s “The Kraken” expansion launches, allowing players to visit and explore all new areas bursting with fresh, unfamiliar, and deadly threats.

The Surge 2 is a third-person ARPG developed by Deck13 Interactive and published by Focus Home Interactive, and is the sequel to 2017’s The Surge. Set in a dystopian future where humans have exhausted the world’s resources, the sequel differs from the first title in several ways, most notably offering players more choice with customizable characters, a larger variety of combat styles, and a larger, more diverse setting with more alternate paths for players to take. The Surge 2 has received generally favorable reviews since its launch in September.
