Sid Meier’s Civilization VI is now available worldwide for the Xbox One family of devices, as well as the PlayStation 4 system.
Originally launched for Microsoft Windows and macOS in October 2016, Sid Meier’s Civilization VI went on to win several awards, including Best PC Game and Best Strategy Game at the 2016 Game Critics Awards, and also took home the trophy as Best Strategy Game in the DICE Awards.
In Civilization VI, players explore new land, research technology, conquer their enemies, and go head to head with some of history’s most renowned leaders as they attempt to build the greatest civilization the world has ever known.

In addition to the launch of Civilization VI for the Xbox, the Civilization VI Expansion Bundle is also releasing for the Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch platforms. This bundle combines both the ‘Rise and Fall’ and ‘Gathering Storm’ expansions, taking the turned-based strategy classic to new heights. This bundle includes sixteen new civilizations, eighteen new leaders, and many major enhancements to gameplay, such as Great Ages and natural disasters influenced by the player’s impact on the living planet.
