After players from The Division 2 made notice of a revealing poster that seems to point towards the next Assassin’s Creed title being set in the Viking era, it seems in the same report from Kotaku that it has been confirmed Watch Dogs 3 will take place in London.
After a new ending was patched into Watch Dogs 2 a while back which helped guide players into the direction of this leak, the report on the new Assassin’s Creed setting nonchalantly nudged a line about London being confirmed for Watch Dogs 3. The updated ending gave fans good reason to believe London was coming up in the next entry, but this new report basically confirms it.
As for official confirmation from Ubisoft, well, they have already said they’re skipping the next Assassin’s Creed title for 2019, so a Watch Dogs 3 reveal could very take its place at this year’s E3 event. As for what else they could be showing at their scheduled conference, Skull & Bones, Beyond Good & Evil 2 and possibly a new Splinter Cell could be something we might see in Ubisoft’s line up.
Stay tuned for any official confirmation for Watch Dogs 3 taking its story to London as we try to scrape together more details.
