PS5 Will be Faster Than Xbox Series X – Rumor

According to the latest rumors from Tidux, the next generation PlayStation will outperform the Xbox Series X. The information was revealed on the Tidux’s Twitter, while he doesn’t give out the numbers, he clearly indicates on which areas players can expect PS5 being the best console.

“CPU PS5 = XSX
GPU PS5 < XSX (less the 1TF)
RAM PS5 > XSX (BW and size)
SSD PS5 > XSX (Speed and size)
Performance PS5 > XSX

This is what info i have gathered over the last few weeks. Final dev kits for PS5 are out.”

Disclaimer – Tidux is not a reliable source of information, therefore this is not factual.

Should Tidux’s information be true, both systems will have the same CPU capabilities, the Sony’s hardware would benefit a faster RAM, having more memory would also be a game changer, the same applies to the storage of the PS5, Tidux claims that Sony is boasting a faster SSD with more storage size  than Microsoft’s Series X.

According to a PC GamesN report from last week, the outlet analyzed a LinkedIn Post from a former Phison employee. The information got from that post suggest that Series X’s Phison SSD  would not perform as fast as the PlayStation 5’s Samsung SSD.

This has led Tidux to claim that Sony will deliver a console that it delivers a better experience, a console that would appeal more to the casual player. But one area in which the Sony’s console will lose the battle would be the GPU, the Xbox Series X is expected to boast one teraflop more than PS5’s GPU, and while it doesn’t sound like much, it certainly could be reflected at frame-rates, which is a massive deal for e-sports.

It worth mentioning that, Tidux has never been a reliable source of information, skepticism is advertised.
