Pokémon Sun and Moon’s QR Codes Will Help Players Fill Their Pokédex

Pokémon Sun and Moon features QR code scanner. The QR code scanner is unlocked after beating the main campaign, every code corresponds to one Pokémon in Alola’s regional Pokédex, and once scanned, players will be able to register them to seek out in their own games. The Pokédex will show where that Pokémon can be caught on the map.

“Reddit users have compiled every single QR code of every single monster in the Alolan Pokédex. There’s a gigantic Imgur page that includes all of the codes for some easy sifting, but below are some uncommon Pokémon to get to scanning already.

Quick note: Players can only scan one code per day. Choose wisely — as in, maybe don’t scan that shiny Dartrix code, since that’s not a Pokémon you’ll ever find out in the wild.

There are even more QR codes available on Reddit if you’re willing to download them. They pertain to the national Pokédex, which includes all 802 Pokémon. And that’s a whole lot of Pokémon, man.”
