Neverwinter Nights – Now Available on Console For the First Time

For the first time starting today, the enhanced edition of the classic Dungeons & Dragons fantasy role-playing video game Neverwinter Nights is available for purchase on modern consoles.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition offers players the chance to experience the original 2002 Computer RPG of the Year, and over 100 hours of downloadable content, including ten standalone D&D-based adventures, which feature co-op and online multiplayer options for gamers to enjoy. The NWN: Enhanced Edition disc contains the base campaign and the ‘Shadows of Undrentide’ and ‘Hordes of the Underdark’ expansions. In addition, players will receive a multitude of premium modules, such as ‘Wyvern Crown of Cormyr’ and ‘Pirates of the Sword Coast’, available as free downloads with purchase. Gamers can fully customize their hero’s class, skills, and appearance, gather a party of like-minded adventurers, and embark on an epic journey of magic, danger, and wonder.

Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition is tailored to deliver a natural gameplay experience on console, offering fans both new and old the chance to play one of gaming’s most formative RPG’s in a whole new way. Developer Beamdog has upgraded the game to offer support for high-resolution, widescreen displays, optimized controls for console, added new content, improved the user interface, fixed a plethora of bugs, made some balance changes, and updated the rendering engine to vastly improve the game’s visual quality over the 2002 original.

Interested fans can purchase the boxed version of Neverwinter Nights: Enhanced Edition from major retailers around the world for USD $49.99 on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. The game is also available as of today for digital download on the PlayStation Store, Microsoft Xbox One Store, and Nintendo eShop.
