Need For Speed Heat

Need For Speed Heat Launch Trailer Revealed

The twenty-fourth installment in the Need for Speed series has received its official launch trailer, which is now viewable both below and on YouTube by fans of the franchise.

Need For Speed Heat was first revealed by a trailer released on August 14, 2019, which was followed up with by a gameplay trailer on August 20. The fast-paced racing game is scheduled for release on November 8, 2019, and its launch commemorates the series’ 25th anniversary.

Set in the open-world environment of Miami-based fictional Palm City, Need For Speed Heat has a world map featuring diverse geography from mountain ranges to open fields, and features 127 cars from 33 different brands. Heat also marks the return of Ferrari to the series, as licensing issues since Need For Speed Payback forced the brand’s absence.

Missing from Heat is Payback‘s 24-hour day/night cycle. Instead, players will be able to switch between day and night at will as they take part in race events to earn money to spend on new cars and upgrades. As always, gamers may also take part in illegal racing activities at night to earn reputation, evading police and returning to their safehouse before their car is destroyed or they are taken into custody by police. In addition, Heat differs from Payback in that performance upgrades will no longer be awarded by random Speedcards, and rather are unlocked through reputation and winning races.

Need For Speed Heat also features microtransactions, allowing players to purchase time-saving items that help unlock content at a faster pace, as well as paid downloadable content. In addition, gamers can also purchase a convenience pack which makes all collectibles visible on their map.
