Indivisible Showcases Beauty in Opening Cutscene

Indivisible shows us all how beautiful it is. Check out this gorgeous opening cinematic.

Here is a small blurb from Lab Zero about Indivisible

Indivisible is an action RPG / platformer featuring stunning hand drawn art and animation combined with unique real-time combat mechanics. Immerse yourself in a fantastical world with dozens of playable characters, a rich storytelling experience, gameplay that’s easy to learn but difficult to master, and the trademark razor-sharp quality that Lab Zero Games is known for!

Indivisible is an upcoming game by Lab Zero Games and published by 505 Games. This cinematic is gorgeous and goes in line with some of Lab Zero’s previous work. Previously they have worked on the Skull Girls series, a series that has amassed a modest audience of fans.

With this project though, Lab Zero is going in a new direction. A real time RPG/ Platformer hybrid is definitely something that is unique, which will hopefully prove successful for them. Looking at this cinematic and the gameplay demo that they have shown of, it looks to play quite well.

These hand drawn graphics are amazing though. Both in the new trailer and in the actual game, it is outstanding. Hand drawn character models always seem to give immediate dimension to what should be just a 2D model. The actions and animations look incredibly smooth and well realized, and shows the strength in what hand crafting something can be.

The gameplay demo, mentioned earlier, highlighted how the minute to minute gameplay can be very dynamic. The platforming looked very reminiscent of a metroidvania style title, but when it smoothly transitioned to combat seem to emulate more tradition RPG influences. This seamless transition matched with the already smooth and gorgeous animation will surely mesh well to create a new adventure to watch out for.

Indivisible comes out soon on October 8, 2019 on Xbox One, Switch, and Playstation 4.
