Halo And Among Us Headlining Game Pass In December

Xbox has announced their lineup of titles that will be coming to Game Pass in December, offering a list that should have a little something for everybody. The biggest headliner on this list is probably the biggest Microsoft release this year, Halo Infinite. While the multiplayer, which is free-to-play, has been available in beta for the past few weeks both the single-player campaign and the official multiplayer release are set to drop on December 8th.

Another big headliner to this list is Among Us, the extremely popular party game where players attempt to repair their ship while contending with an imposter trying to kill them, which will come to Game Pass day 1 when it makes its console debut on December 14th. A complete list of games to come can be found below:

December 2

  • Anvil (Console, PC)
  • Archvale (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Final Fantasy XIII-2 (Console, PC)
  • Lawn Mowing Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Rubber Bandits (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Stardew Valley (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Warhammer 40K: Battlesector (Cloud, Console, PC)

December 7

  • Space Warlord Organ Trading Simulator (Cloud, Console, PC)

December 8

  • Halo Infinite (Cloud, Console, PC)

December 9

  • One Piece Pirate Warriors 4 (Cloud, Console, PC)

December 14

  • Aliens: Fireteam Elite (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Among Us (Cloud, Console, PC)

As per usual, when more games come in, other games are set to leave. Though in sheer numbers, more games are coming than are leaving, here is the list of games set to leave on December 15, so if they interest you, get to them before it is too late:

  • Beholder (Cloud, Console)
  • The Dark Pictures: Man of Medan (Console, PC)
  • Guacamelee! 2 (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Wilmot’s Warehouse (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Unto The End (Cloud, Console, PC)
  • Yooka-Laylee and the Impossible Lair (Cloud, Console, PC)

Another game to look out for on Game Pass are the co-operative shooter Aliens: Fireteam Elite which is a pretty solid multiplayer shooter set in the alien’s universe. Since Back 4 Blood and Marvel’s Avengers have both benefited from the easy access that Game Pass affords their title, I’m sure Aliens is hoping for the same.

Final Fantasy XIII-2 will also be joining the platform shortly after the first title was added. With the pacing of these releases, I think it might be safe to assume that Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII will most likely to join soon. While the XIII trilogy often gets a bum rap among Final Fantasy fans they are still worth playing if you have that JRPG itch, with both offering very different experiences.
