According to Windows Central’s Jez Corden, Fallout 3 is set to receive a remaster similar to The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered. Corden also stated that the recently discovered teaser site from Amazon for the Fallout TV show is not pointing to a new Fallout game announcement. He added that the Fallout 3 remaster is expected to launch “eventually,” and also claimed that Fallout: New Vegas will receive a similar treatment.
Back in October 2025, Todd Howard stated that while no announcements are planned yet, Bethesda is currently working on something for the Fallout franchise. “Even though I am recording this — it’s not live — and I’m probably watching myself right now from my desk and I’m reading your chat and these… that thing you want and this other thing you want… Hey, we read it all,” said Howard. “Just know we are working on even more. We are looking forward to the day when we can share that with everybody.” In recent news, publisher Bethesda Softworks and developer Bethesda Game Studios released Fallout 4: Anniversary Edition. It launched on November 10 for all current platforms.
