CoD: Modern Warfare – Drink Dew, Get Double XP

As if gamers needed another reason to drink Mountain Dew, the makers of the soft drink have teamed up with CoD for a promotion leading up to the Call of Duty: Modern Warfare release.

Gamers who want an edge at the launch of Modern Warfare can unlock double experience points by purchasing any Mountain Dew drink, then entering the unique XP code, which can be found on every Mountain Dew pack.

These codes enable 15 minutes of double experience while playing in multiplayer online mode, and while that may not seem like an extraordinary amount of time, hardcore gamers know that every second counts. Players worried they might not be able to consume copious amounts of Mountain Dew in a quick manner can breathe easy—the codes are redeemable until the end of January 2020.

Gaming YouTuber and Call of Duty player James Spratt is also teaming up with Mountain Dew to give his viewers an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the CoD: Modern Warfare launch event on October 24th. Those interested can keep an eye on his Instagram, Twitter, and YouTube channel.

Natalie Redford, Director of Marketing at PepsiCo Beverages UK said, “We’re thrilled to announce our partnership with Activision ahead of the most epic chapter of Call of Duty yet. Mountain Dew wants to help people live out their passions, and with this collaboration, we hope to inspire amateur gamers to push their boundaries and, importantly, have a great time while doing it!”

The limited edition Call of Duty Mountain Dew packs are available in selected Tesco, Co-op, Spar, and WHSmith stores. Get to it, gamers!
