Capcom May Reveal Two New Games at Jump Festa

If rumors are true, Capcom may be announcing two new titles at Jump Festa, taking place on December 21-22, 2019.

According to ryokutya2089, a well-known Japanese leaker who usually leaks information from the Weekly Famitsu and Dengeki PlayStation magazines in Japan, Capcom plans to exhibit unreleased four titles at Jump Festa, two of which have been named: Monster Hunter World: Iceborne, and January’s upcoming Mega Man Zero/ZX Legacy Collection.

In addition to the two aforementioned titles, ryokutya2089 alleges that Capcom will feature two as-of yet unpublished and/or unannounced games. The leak doesn’t say what these two games are, though it speculates one of them will be the Devil May Cry Triple Pack for Japanese owners of the Nintendo Switch.

In regards to the second unannounced and unpublished title, nobody seems to have any real idea as to what it might be. However, if one were to consider the major success of Resident Evil 2’s remake this year, it might feel entirely plausible that Capcom has Resident Evil 3 up their sleeves. Whether or not any of this information is true is up to readers to decide, though it would make sense for Capcom to capitalize on the success of Resident Evil 2, in particular when one considers that the game took home Ultimate Game of the Year at the Golden Joystick Awards, and is up for Game of the Year again in a mere two weeks at this year’s VGA’s.

This month has been a big month for leaks, rumors, and speculation, each of varying veracity and trustworthiness. Last week, rumors swirled about a potential announcement for Batman: Arkham Legacy, and the week before that, a potential Resident Evil 3 leak appeared on YouTube—making the idea that Capcom may announce such a project at Jump Festa just the tiniest bit more plausible.
