BlizzCon 2019

BlizzCon 2019 Schedule – Expect At Least 4 Big Announcements

Attendees of 2019’s BlizzCon and those viewing the convention via a virtual ticket can expect to see up to four major announcements from Blizzard developers, if the con schedule is any indication.

With all the speculation, rumors, and leaks flying around the internet ahead of BlizzCon, there is very little doubt that there will be several much-anticipated announcements regarding Blizzard’s beloved franchises. BlizzCon’s schedule seems to bear this out, as it contains four 45-minute timeslots on November 1, and two on November 2, all labeled “Coming soon!”.

After last year’s disastrous and much-panned announcement of Diablo Immortal, Blizzard knows it has to make 2019’s BlizzCon the best in the convention’s history. Tensions are high between Blizzard and its fan base, so giving the players what they have begged for is ostensibly a smart move by the company. Diablo 4, Overwatch 2, remastered Diablo 2, a new expansion for World of Warcraft, and perhaps even a new Starcraft game are all prime contenders for these first-day announcements.

In addition to the aforementioned announcements, the BlizzCon schedule contains most of the usual goodies. Updates from the Heroes of the Storm, Hearthstone, World of Warcraft, Warcraft III: Reforged, and Overwatch teams are planned throughout both days of the con, along with many artist panels, and of course, a chat with the Overwatch voice actors.

The Overwatch World Cup, World of Warcraft Mythic Dungeon Invitational, Starcraft’s WCS Global Finals, and the Hearthstone Global Finals are all scheduled for broadcast in different areas of the convention. November 1 will see the yearly cosplay exhibition from 8:15PM-9:15PM. In addition, attendees and viewers can expect to see the usual lore panels and Q&A sessions.

Gaming Instincts will cover BlizzCon live as it happens, so gamers who don’t have a virtual ticket should keep an eye out for updates throughout the convention. Follow Gaming Instincts on Facebook and Twitter for any and all things BlizzCon related. You can check out the BlizzCon schedule here.
