Black Desert Mobile Gets First Big Content Update

Pearl Abyss has announced the first major content update for Black Desert Mobile, along with various holiday events now live for adventurers around the globe to make merry and enjoy.

This major content update includes a brand spanking new region, South Mediah, introducing areas such as Altinova, Abun Village, the abandoned Iron Mines, and Marni’s Second Lab. Along with these new areas, South Mediah brings a treasure trove of new content, including new quests for players to undertake, and challenging Boss Rushes they may participate in.

On top of the new areas, quests, and boss fights, the max level cap for characters has increased from 55 to 60. The maximum Enhancement level cap for weapons and armor has also increased, from 30 to 35. High-level adventurers with stronger weapons can enjoy brand-new battlefields and the release of powerful Mystical gear, dressing up to take down their foes in style.

An event—the Hammer of Fortune Event—has also gone live just in time for the holidays (or the day after, but nobody is counting). This mini-game gives players the chance to gain coveted rewards, including an awesome Tier 3 Snowman pet. Each row of blocks offers a special reward, and this event will remain accessible throughout the end of the year. Players who want to get their rewards should log in and take part as soon as possible.

Following the global release of Black Desert Mobile on December 11, total downloads have reached 20 million worldwide, and the number of players is continuing to grow fast. Along with previous launches in South Korea, Taiwan, and Japan, Black Desert Mobile is continuing to grow with both its regional and global communities.
