Apex Legends Reveal New Legend Crypto

Season 3 of Apex Legends begins October 1, and the hype is ramping up. Respawn is helping ensure this by releasing this brand new story trailer for Crypto. Do not miss this and check it out below.

This is awesome. The animation is fantastic and love the fact Respawn is going the extra mile to make all of the characters likeable. If you have not see any of the previous trailers for the characters, it is definitely worth a look. Respawn seem to be taking a note from Blizzard and going all out on trying to really make these characters and their own personal lore important.

So far every season of Apex has brought us a new character. The first season featured the speedster Octane. The second gave us the shockingly sweet Watson. This time it looks like we are getting more of a vigilante type character. Crypto looks like he might be out to get vengeance against those who have wronged him and his “forever family”.

Crypto has been hinted at for quite a while now. Players started to find laptops scattered around the map, in different vantage point. This indicated that someone had been there, and they had been watching. More recently, players actually got a full on glimpse of Crypto in game.

As players duked it out in the new underground lab, made possible courtesy of a giant wraith portal in the sky, you could dip off into a room and spot him. He would be standing at a terminal and would run off once he realized he was spotted. These small details, that would otherwise be missed, again lend themselves well to making these characters and this arena we fight in feel fleshed out.

The new season 3 of Apex Legends begins on October 1, and that is when we will be able to take command of Crypto. We will also be receiving a new weapon, as well as some light map changes.

Apex Legends is available for free on Xbox One, Playstation 4, and PC.
