7 Enemies We’d Like too See Return in Minecraft Legends

Minecraft is known for its popular open-world sandbox game that has both creative and survival modes. The franchise has put out a couple of spin-off games now, one of them including Minecraft Dungeons, which is an action game that can be played both in single-player or multiplayer. It is based on combat and progression. Now we will soon see Minecraft Legends joining the mix. In Minecraft, however, while it is a survival game, it also doubles as a sandbox world. While in survival mode, you go around and collect items from the world around you, and using those materials, you can create anything your heart desires. While in creative you have all the items you could want at your fingertips. Even more, if you add mods to your Minecraft while using Java edition.

Now that you know what Minecraft is and what their past games have been, let’s get onto the big stuff. Minecraft Legends is an upcoming action-strategy video game, developed by the same creators of Minecraft and Minecraft Dungeons, Mojang Studios, and Blackbird Interactive, and will be published by Xbox Game Studios. All in all, Minecraft Legends looks like an updated and more filled-out version of Minecraft Dungeons, although there will be a bit different gameplay and features included. Today we will be discussing all kinds of mobs and enemies we’d like to see in this game that alines with the previous games in the franchise.

7 Enemies Returning In Minecraft Legends

Now that we know everything about Minecraft and its upcoming spin-off series, we are going to discuss seven enemies that we’d like to see in the upcoming game. There are many mobs that players run into while playing this franchises games, and those range from Creepers to Endermen, however, after watching the trailer, it seems we will see some not-so-familiar faces in the new Minecraft Legends game, but hopefully, those few aren’t the limits to what we will be seeing. Here are some enemies we could see in the game when it releases in April.

7. Golems

Lastly, Golems. These are a creature that is still in Minecraft to this day, which players can create using various different items. It would be a really cool experience to see these in the new game, they could be friendly like in the original Minecraft and protect the player from other mobs, or they could be hostile and attack the player. When a player hits a Golem in Minecraft, even accidentally, it will turn against them and attack the player, so they could be similar in that regard and act as a protector that higher-leveled players could obtain.

6. Giant Spiders

Spiders have been in the Minecraft world for a long time, also in its spin-off games as well. They are usually found in caves and forests, and they are found in dark places just like real-world spiders. Something that will probably terrify many players would be…giant spiders. These spiders could be a very dangerous thing that is in Minecraft Legends, that come out of the dark and attack the player. Maybe they are extremely poisonous as well, but they would drop rare items which is what makes battling them worth it in the first place.

5. Illusioner

The Illusioner mob was first introduced in Minecraft as part of the Illager group of mobs. This enemy has some pretty unique abilities that can create illusions that can confuse and disorient the players. But, the Illusioner was never implemented fully in the game itself, so it would be really cool to see this mob appear in Minecraft Legends with a more thought-out and full set of abilities. This is yet another mob that could make a great boss battle fight for the player as well.

4. Red Dragon

It is already known that dragons aren’t anything new to the Minecraft franchise, they have in fact been in past games whether that be Minecraft Dungeons and Dragons or some other mods and expansions. This also includes the Ender Dragon which players meet at the end of Minecraft when they go into the Ender world through the Ender Portal. The Red Dragon was a feature in the early development of Minecraft and was even mentioned in some of the game’s lore. Seeing it in Minecraft Legends would be really cool, sort of like a boss battle encounter maybe. Maybe players could defeat the Red Dragon to then get a special in-game item.

3. Humanoid Mobs

Alright, so as mentioned, there have been and are a lot of different mobs in the Minecraft games throughout the years, and some of those range over different varieties of humans and humanoid-looking creatures. For example, Minecraft had some Villager mobs that players could trade with, it was interesting how these creatures were in the game considering they weren’t really humanoid either. In the trailer, we saw some Zombie villagers, but that isn’t quite a humanoid, so maybe we will get to see something closer to that in the final game.

2. Pink Wither

This mob is an interesting one, as it was a April Fools’ mob which was recurring in both Java Edition 2.0 and 15w14a. The Pink mod could be summoned by a player placing down a potter rose while on top of a piece of pink wool. It would then follow players around while holding sugar. While feeding sugar to the mob, it will grow more heads, up to three in total. While this mob isn’t a threat to the players it would be cool to see some interest mobs like this be in the game.

1. Giant

The Giant is a massive mob that was unfortunately removed from Minecraft back in version 1.8. This towering enemy was around three times the height of a player, which made its encounter and combat all that more intense. The Giant does have some slow attack speed though which came the player the upper hand but it does give some significant damage when it does strike, and considering its size, it can be hard to avoid being hit. Seeing this in Minecraft Legends would be could a rare enemy, and it would offer a challenge to the game and its battle.

Minecraft Legends will probably surprise us with all that mobs are actually in the game, but these are some mobs that either will be in the game, or for now, will remain hopes until the game actually releases. Minecraft Legends is available for pre-order and will be available on April 18th for Nintendo Switch, PC, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, PS5, and PS4.
