Gameplay From Shenmue 3 Shown Off In New Trailer
The highly awaited and anticipated game Shenmue 3 has finally received a new trailer, showing off the type of fighting the gameplay has to offer. Originally revealed at E3 2015, there has been little information given about the progress of Shenmue 3. The developers Neilo and Ys Net, along with the Publisher Deep Silver have kept quiet about the games lengthy development, only telling us an expected release of August 2019.
The newly released trailer was revealed during Monaco Anime Game International Conferences 2019. It features the games main protagonist Ryo Hazuki as he trains his fighting skills. The trailer also offers some hints about the storyline, mentioning an item named the Pheonix Mirror.
There has been mixed feedback from fans on YouTube regarding the newest trailer. Some fans praise it and others are disappointed by the quality. Some examples of the mixed YouTube fan feedback are below.
WOW….its shaping up to be the game I’ve always wanted….i can in-vision myself trapped in this world for weeks.

I feel the facial animations still need some improvement, not bad but not great. The little snippet of gameplay could also use some polishing. But overall I think these things will get done before its August release.
According to Steam, Shenmue 3 is expected to launch August 27th, 2019. It is assumed that the Playstation 4 release will be the same day. With the recent release of Shenmue 1 and 2 on PC, Playstation 4 and Xbox One in 2018, it is uncertain if Shenmue 3 will release on Xbox One in the future.
